Fun with families!
When raising a family, it’s true how they say that the days are long but the years are short. It’s easy to turn around and wonder how the children sprouted up so quickly. The art of capturing the love and connection among a family in portrait form is one that I hold near and dear to my heart, as there is hardly anything in life more precious than these bonds. A well-crafted, thoughtful photo session in my studio, out in nature, or at your home is a joyous celebration of your family, resulting in stunning photos that preserve this cherished time for years to come.
How many family portraits do you have with everyone in them? Looking back at personal photos of myself and my brother growing up, I realized that we had tons of pictures with my dad, a handful with my mom, and a select few of all four of us. I would have loved to be able to see all four of us moving through time together, as the spaces between the photos are moments lost in time that we can never get back.
Are you worried that you won’t be able to collect you energetic kids and reluctant spouse for a nice family photo? Don’t be! During our portrait session together, I use prompts and games to encourage the children to play and have fun. My goal is to allow the kids to be kids and have some fun in the process! This takes the stress off the parents and allows everyone to leave the session with smiles. As a special education teacher, I understand the level of patience needed to work with children, as well as how to effectively get them to cooperatively work toward our shared goal.

Come relax with me, blending fun, kisses, running, and play to create genuine moments before your little ones aren’t small anymore. Babies and children don’t keep! There are only 18 summers before your little loves are moving out on their own to new adventures.
