The time in which your child is a newborn is fragile and fleeting, exhausting and cherished. Especially since this phase of life is so brief, and the parents are often so harried, it is easy to later forget the sweetness of their sleeping innocence, the nuances of their expressions, or the delicacy of their tiny toes. My passion is creating timeless newborn photographs that will preserve the memory of your exquisite little ones in their newest forms forever. With the safety and well-being of your newborn in mind, I will create those heart-stopping images for you in the comfort of your own home or in my newborn-ready studio.
When do I book my session?
For the most squishy and sleepy babies, the most ideal window for newborn photography is between 5 and 12 days of age. Babies begin their first growth spurt shortly after that, which could mean possible cranky babies or light sleepers. I know babies come on their own schedule! We will pencil in a date around your due date. After your little miracle makes their debut, message me and we can schedule the final date and time. My favorite messages are mommas telling me that they are in labor!
I have my due date and want to book, what’s next?
To begin, our session will start with a consultation online, over the phone, or over a warm beverage. We will talk about your goals and ideas for our session, including where you would hang the images, what styles you’re looking for, color schemes, poses, who will be in the photos, and special outfits, toys, or props you would like to include. We will go over the options for your collections to help you make a decision on what works best for your family. With my flexible packages, final decisions and print choices do not have to be made until after you receive your gallery. Payment plans are available for session fees and print packages, which allows us to work within your budget.

After the baby comes of you have an induction date we will be in communication to choose the date that works best for you and your family. I will also send over a guide to help support you and ease the stress of having photos done. This will include things to pack and what to expect during your session.
On the day of your session
On the day of your newborn session, sit back while the magic happens, or feel free to relax! Your bundle of joy is safe and in experienced, loving hands. I will have the setups designed based on our consultation and all the supplies to make the most amazing images for you. Parents tell me they are relieved at how I am able to settle their babies and that they love how I take the pressure off of them and simply capture the sweetness of their little ones. We will work on the babies schedule! Which means feeding schedules, outfit changes, and sibling/family photos.
After your session
After the session, your final photos will be revealed with an online gallery that you’re able to review from the comfort of your own home. Here you are able to select the photos you’d like as your digital images, order your prints, or wall art. I know that life with a new baby can be overwhelming so I will be there to support you every step of the way. This includes ordering the prints for you or even installing the wall art in your home if you wish.
