A Magical Vero Beach Maternity Session by the Sea

There’s something so special about meeting a family for the very first time and knowing, almost instantly, that magic is about to happen. During our pre-session consultation, Yani lit up when she saw the flowy, floral lavender dress already in my client closet. She loved it immediately—and then picked out a second dress in a soft, dreamy tan shade. I was so inspired by her choice that I purchased it just for her session, and now both gowns are part of my growing client closet. Yani knew one thing for sure: she wanted her maternity photos on the beach. We decided on one of my favorite Vero Beach locations—a hidden gem with two parks. On one side, you get the golden light and ocean breeze with sweeping coastal views. Just across the street, you step into a magical space with lush greenery, a charming dock, and the most breathtaking sunset views over the water. Capturing a sunset over water on the east coast of Florida is no easy feat since the sun sets in the west—but this special location makes it possible. It truly gives you the best of both worlds.

The day of our session, Yani arrived with glowing skin, flawless hair, and the sweetest smile—thanks to her earlier hair and makeup appointment. She looked absolutely stunning in both gowns, and it was such a joy to capture her radiance.

And let’s talk about dad! Like many partners, her husband was a little hesitant at first (we’ve all been there!), but once we started, he relaxed and ended up truly enjoying himself. By the time we reached the dock, he was laughing, snuggling, and soaking in the moment with Yani—and the love between them was unmistakable.

This session was everything I love about being a maternity photographer in Vero Beach and Sebastian: joyful, relaxed, full of connection, and deeply meaningful. Every moment was a celebration of life, love, and the new adventure ahead.
